Welcome to the TexasTailgaters.com. This site is devoted to the the Texas Longhorn fans that show up hours before game time to celebrate Longhorn football. In the future, you will be able to register as a member of the site and do the following:

• Set up your own TexasTailgaters Group defined by the folks you tailgate with.
• Post pictures of your parties
• Setup menus and define who brings what
• Exchange recipes and tailgating tips
• Send e-invitations to your tailgate to your friends
• Chat about tailgating and Texas Longhorn Football (or other sports that you might tailgate for).
• Purchase unique and interesting Longhorn items

We are also considering holding contests for the best tailgate, providing online catering services (somebody else does all the setup, cooking, etc.), and access to the site through your mobile phone.

We haven't decided if we're going to get sponsors for the site yet, but we probably will if it takes off to defer the costs of the hosting site and administration. If your interested in helping to build or admin the site, send an email to cjames@austin.rr.com.
